Working in an Agile enviroment you will take control of the analysis, reporting and communication of test results across a range of assigned software based projects.
All about you
With qualifications in Computer Science or equivalent, you are early into your career as a QA specialist, hoping to get some more hands on experience, pick up new skills and work with some great technology. Key to this role will be experience in web application testing, SQL skills and a stack of initiative. To be a successful QA with PageUp People you have to love trouble shooting and analysis, be very proactive and enjoy working with a range of different people.
A bit about the role
A fantastic role for someone with a thirst for knowledge who wants to learn some new ways to approach software testing. In a nut shell the role looks a little like this:
Functional or exploratory testing of software, mainly web applications in an Agile SDLC
Ability to come up with core and edge test cases
Reporting of bugs found to the development team and all key stakeholders
Run automated tests and being able to analyse and debug the test result
Work with QA Manager if the automated test suite needs to be changed due to changes of software functionality
Ensure Project Managers are aware of priority 1 and 2 issues still outstanding'Sign off' prior to release to UAT and then 'live' environments
